What’s next

Secondly, a much requested feature is more publishing options besides public (private, unlisted, password, Premium). We’ll be introducing those one at a time in the next few updates.

We’re also working to introduce clear content guidelines before the end of the year. Importantly, we’d like to talk about how those guidelines will be enforced, both in the short term and once the Community Moderation System is place, where users themselves get voting power to process reports. A point of contention has been some users receiving temporary bans as a result of mass copyright uploads, where perhaps a ‘restricted publishing’ mode would have been more appropriate. We’re working on a solution where the user can keep full control over their account and communicate with the moderators inside the platform instead of by email. More on that in the future.

Lastly, if you haven’t already, check out the Upcoming Features sticky on our subreddit here.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and go get all those Black Friday sales!
